Frequently asked questions
Why does my image need a transparent background?
The drop shadow is the shape of your cutout, made from its alpha mask. If the photo still has its background, there is no mask, and the shadow would be a rectangle around the whole photo. Remove the background first, then drop the cutout here.
Which shadow should I pick for a product photo?
Pick the drop shadow for a soft, natural look on a wall or a page. Pick the contact shadow when the product stands on a surface and needs grounding. Pick the reflection when the product sits on glass or a glossy table.
Should I download PNG or JPG?
Download PNG to keep a transparent background for your own designs. Download JPG for a listing photo with the background filled in, because JPG has no transparency and always gets the background you picked, or white.
Can I use the result commercially?
