Photoroom alternative: pay per image, with no subscription
Photoroom is a strong product-photo editor, and its paid plans are subscriptions. If you only publish in bursts, Movapix takes the other route: about $0.008 per finished image and about $0.024 per video, no plan, no renewal, and no monthly reset. A failed generation is free, and credits stay in your account until you use them.
No Telegram or card needed. Charged only when a creation succeeds.
Photoroom pricing in 2026: what Pro at $7.50 to $12.99 a month buys, and what it meters
On its official pricing page, Photoroom lists Pro at $7.50 per month billed yearly, with 8,000 AI credits and 1,000 exports a month; monthly billing and other regions price the same plan higher, up to the $12.99 figure in its own plan summaries. Max raises the allowance to 25,000 credits and 3,000 exports and adds video, and Ultra goes further still. Two different meters therefore decide your bill: AI credits, spent at different rates by different tools, and exports, counted every time a finished image leaves the app.
That metering is reasonable if you use it every week. In a quiet month it is wasteful, because the allowance does not carry into next month.

Side-by-side: Photoroom subscription vs Movapix at $0.008 per image for 20, 100 and 500 images
The table compares one month of Pro with buying the images you actually finish. It compares billing, not output quality: the section below says where Photoroom is ahead.
| What you finish | Photoroom Pro | Movapix pay per image |
|---|---|---|
| 20 images | $7.50 billed yearly, or more monthly | $0.16, from a top-up you keep |
| 100 images | Same monthly plan, if credits and exports cover them | $0.80 |
| 500 images | Same monthly plan, within 1,000 exports a month | $4.00 |
| A month with no images | The plan still renews | $0. Nothing renews |
| Videos as well | Video sits on Max and above | About $0.024 per video, same balance |
Movapix figures are generation cost only, before bonus credits: every top-up adds bonus credits on top. Photoroom figures are the plan price, not a per-image rate, because a subscription does not sell images one by one.
Migrating from Photoroom: keep your white-background workflow, drop the monthly bill
Step 1. Export or keep the originals of your best-selling listings, not the flattened Photoroom versions, so you start from the real product photo. Step 2. Recreate the look you actually used: a plain white or light background, the product centred with margin, and a soft shadow under it. Our good-prompt guide shows how to name subject, setting and light in one sentence. Step 3. Generate the first listing set, check edges and label text at full size, and only then work through the rest of the catalogue.

When to choose Photoroom, and when to choose Movapix
Choose Photoroom if you edit most days, lean on its batch mode and marketplace templates, or want its mobile editor and AI fashion models. At steady high volume a subscription pool can be cheaper, and its staging tools are more specialised than a general generator.
Choose Movapix if your pattern is a launch, a seasonal refresh, then weeks of quiet; if you want images and short videos from one balance; or if you simply refuse another renewal. You give up the dedicated product-photo editor and its batch pipeline, and in return you pay only for finished creations.

Frequently asked questions
Is Movapix a full replacement for Photoroom?
Not for every workflow. It replaces the pay-per-month generation step for occasional product images, but it is not Photoroom’s dedicated editor, batch pipeline or template library, so heavy daily editors may prefer to stay.
How much do 100 product images cost here?
About $0.80 in generation cost, at roughly $0.008 per finished image, before bonus credits. You top up a wallet first, a credit is deducted only when a creation succeeds, and failures cost nothing.
Do my credits expire if I skip a month?
No. Credits never expire and there is no monthly reset, because there is no subscription. A balance bought for one launch is still there, unchanged, when the next collection arrives months later.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
An unused wallet balance can be refunded within 7 days of topping up, by writing to [email protected]. Generations you have already used are not refundable, which is why the free starting credits matter.
How do I pay from outside Vietnam?
By USDT on TRC20 or BEP20, from 2 USDT, in the dashboard top-up screen. Card and PayPal are not available yet, and Vietnamese customers can also top up by VietQR bank transfer.
