Remove the photobomber, keep the photo — or make it taller
A stranger walks into your travel photo, power lines cut across the sky, or a square photo needs to become a vertical cover. Movapix brushes the unwanted object out and fills the background, or extends the frame to 9:16 or 16:9.
No signup to try. Each erase or outpaint costs 1 image credit, only when it finishes.
How to remove an object from a photo
Step 1 — open Erase, upload your own photo, and brush over the object you want gone: a person in the background, a bin, a date stamp, or power lines. Keep the brush a little larger than the object.
Step 2 — let Movapix fill the brushed area from the surrounding background. Check the fill at full size before you download: edges, repeating patterns and shadows show a bad fill first.
Step 3 — to widen the frame instead, pick outpaint: choose 9:16 for TikTok and Reels, or 16:9 for YouTube, and let the tool paint only the new border around your original photo.
Step 4 — download the result. If a fill looks wrong, brush a smaller area and try again, rather than erasing one large, busy area at once.
Use it only on your own photos. Movapix does not remove watermarks or logos that belong to someone else.

Outpaint sizes, and the limits that keep it real
Outpaint adds new background around your photo. It does not restage the photo or move your subject.
| Job | Size | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Erase an object | Photo up to 1024 px on the long edge | Fill the brushed area from nearby background |
| Square to vertical | 1:1 to 9:16 | TikTok, Reels and Shorts covers |
| Square to wide | 1:1 to 16:9 | YouTube thumbnails and covers |
| Maximum expansion | Up to 1.5 times each side | Beyond that, the tool would redraw the photo, not extend it |
Input photos are limited to 1024 px on the long edge in this first version, and expansion is limited to 1.5 times in each direction.
Tips that keep an erase looking natural
- Power lines against a plain sky are the easiest erase, and the reason many people look up how to remove power lines wires from photo online. Thin lines against sky fill cleanly.
- Remove a stranger from a beach photo by brushing only the person, not the sand around them. A smaller brush keeps the fill believable.
- A photobomber against a plain sea or wall fills well. A photobomber in a crowd usually does not, because there is no clean background to copy from.
- After an erase, check the shadow the object left behind. A leftover shadow is the most common giveaway, so brush it too if it does not belong in the scene.
- For outpaint, keep the original subject in the centre and expand in small steps. A square photo to vertical, without cropping the subject, works best when the subject already has space around it.
- Do not erase a watermark or logo. If the mark belongs to someone else, leave it in place.
Honest limits, before you pay anything
An erase is not magic: it fills from nearby pixels, so it cannot invent detail that was never in the photo.
- Each erase or outpaint costs 1 image credit, about $0.008, and videos cost about $0.024. You pay per creation, with no subscription.
- International top-ups are USDT only (TRC20 or BEP20, from 2 USDT). Card and PayPal are not available yet.
- Creations are private by default: no public feed, and your work joins the showcase only with your agreement.
- Credits never expire and are deducted only on success. An unused wallet balance can be refunded within 7 days of topping up.
- Commercial use is allowed: your listings, shop and ads, within the law and our content rules.

Frequently asked questions
Can it remove a whole person from a busy background?
It works best on a simple background, such as sea, wall or sky. On a busy background, such as a crowd or detailed architecture, the fill may not look natural, so check the preview and brush a smaller area first.
How far can I outpaint a photo?
Up to 1.5 times in each direction, from an input photo of at most 1024 px on the long edge. Expanding further would redraw the photo instead of extending its frame.
Will outpaint change my subject?
No. Your subject in the centre stays unchanged; only the new border is painted, and your original photo is kept so you can compare the two.
Can I remove a watermark or logo?
No. Movapix refuses to remove a watermark or logo that belongs to someone else; erase only unwanted objects in your own photos.
How long does it take?
The aim is under 30 seconds for a typical erase; a large outpaint runs in a queue, one job at a time, and the page polls its progress.
