AI B-roll clips cheap: $0.024 each, no subscription

B-roll is the footage that makes a talking video watchable, and stock libraries charge a subscription for it. With Movapix you make a B-roll clip for about $0.024, one slow motion at a time, with no subscription and no charge for a failed generation. International top-ups are by USDT for now.

What a video full of B-roll actually costs

A short video typically needs five to fifteen B-roll clips: a hook shot, a few scene changes, and a closing shot. At $0.024 per clip, ten clips cost about $0.24. Five clips cost about $0.12; fifteen cost about $0.36.

That price changes how you edit. When a clip costs cents, you can generate a second version of a weak shot instead of keeping it. Credits never expire, so clips made for one video can sit beside clips for the next. This page only supplies the material: you still edit, narrate and publish the video yourself.

How to make B-roll that edits cleanly

Step 1 — write one slow motion per clip. B-roll should sit under narration, not compete with it. Copy a prompt and swap in your scene:

Rain on a window, slowRain drops sliding slowly down a window, blurred city lights behind, soft evening light, calm and quiet, steady camera
Train window, slowCountryside passing slowly outside a train window, green fields and trees, soft daylight, steady camera, gentle motion
Hands at a market, slowHands picking vegetables slowly at a morning market stall, warm daylight, steady camera, natural colours
Sunrise over a field, slowSun rising slowly over a quiet field, soft golden light, mist low over the grass, steady camera, peaceful scene

Step 2 — keep the camera steady in the prompt, so the clip cuts cleanly against narration. Step 3 — watch the whole clip and drop any clip with warped hands or a broken ending. Step 4 — add captions with the auto-subtitles guide, and a still image as the video cover: a 16:9 image with one bold subject and only a few words, checked letter by letter, because text inside AI images can be wrong. See the good-prompt guide for cover wording.

A worked example: one short video

Here is one short video planned as clips, not as a single generation. Each row is one $0.024 clip, so the material cost is visible before you start.

Part of the videoClipsMaterial cost
Hook shot1 clipAbout $0.024
B-roll under narration5 clipsAbout $0.12
Closing shot1 clipAbout $0.024

Total for this example: 7 clips, about $0.17 before bonuses. No promise is made about monetisation: a video still needs your editing, your voice and your idea, and platforms tighten rules on mass-produced content.

  • YouTube and other platforms tighten rules on mass-produced content: Movapix supplies material, and you edit, narrate and take responsibility for the finished video.
  • International top-ups are USDT only (TRC20 or BEP20, from 2 USDT). Card and PayPal are not available yet.
  • Creations are private by default: no public feed, and your work joins the showcase only with your agreement.

Frequently asked questions

How many B-roll clips does one video need?

Five to fifteen clips is typical: a hook shot, several scene changes under narration, and a closing shot. At $0.024 each, ten clips cost about $0.24.

Can I add subtitles to B-roll clips?

Yes. The auto-subtitles guide adds captions automatically, as an SRT file you can edit or as words burned into the video itself, in auto, Vietnamese or English.

Will these clips get my channel monetised?

No promise is made about monetisation. A video still needs your editing, narration and idea, and platforms tighten rules on mass-produced content from 2025.

Do B-roll credits expire?

No. Credits stay in your account until you use them, with no monthly plan and no end-of-month reset, so clips for the next video can wait.
