AI product photos for Shopify stores: $0.008 per image
Every Shopify listing needs clean product photos, and a photographer or a $30-a-month mockup subscription is a lot for a store finding its feet. With Movapix you describe the shot and get a store-ready photo for about $0.008 each — no subscription, and you pay only when the generation succeeds.
No Telegram or card needed. Charged only when a creation succeeds.
What a full listing set costs
A listing needs about five images: white-background hero, lifestyle scene, material close-up, scale shot and packaging. At $0.008 each that set costs about $0.04 — four cents. A 50-product store needs 250 images, about $2 before bonuses. Pay-per-image suits this rhythm: launch weeks cost cents, quiet weeks cost nothing.
| You top up | Image credits | Video credits |
|---|---|---|
| $1 | 125 images | 41 videos |
| $2 | 250 images | 83 videos |
| $5 | 625 images | 208 videos |
| $10 | 1,250 images | 416 videos |
Before bonus credits. Every purchase adds bonus credits on top: at least +2, then +1% from $2 up to +5% from $50. Charged only on success; credits never expire.
How to shoot a product with AI in three steps
Step 1 — describe the shot, not just the product. Name the product, the surface, the background and the light. Copy a prompt and swap in your product:
A matte black wireless earbuds case open on a seamless white background, soft studio light, gentle shadow beneath, e-commerce product photography, no people, no textA ceramic pour-over coffee dripper on a light oak kitchen counter beside a folded linen cloth, soft morning window light, blurred kitchen behind, lifestyle product photography, no people, no textExtreme close-up of a woven linen tote bag texture with leather handles, soft daylight, shallow depth of field, e-commerce detail photography, no people, no textStep 2 — match the ratio to the slot: hero at 1:1, lifestyle at 4:3, so thumbnails crop nothing important. Step 3 — generate two or three variants of the hero and keep the cleanest. Need a transparent cut-out? The remove-background guide linked below does it in one image credit, only on success.
An honest price comparison
| Option | Price | How it is billed |

| Product photographer | $200–$500 per session | A shoot day per batch of products, then editing time. |
| Mockup subscription | $15–$30 per month | Template mockups; your store can end up looking like everyone else’s. |

Before you publish a product photo
- Check colour against the real product. Where exact colour decides a purchase, compare the render with the item in hand — or photograph the real one.
- Keep one look per store. Reuse the same light, surface and background words so fifty listings read as one shop.
- Check any text. AI misspells; add labels and packaging text afterwards in your design tool.
- Commercial use is allowed. Use your downloads in listings, your store and ads, within the law and our content rules.
Honest limits, before you pay anything
- AI renders are interpretations of your description, not scans of your product. Where exact colour, print placement or dimensions decide a purchase, verify against the real item.
- International top-ups are USDT only (TRC20 or BEP20, from 2 USDT). Card and PayPal are not available yet.
- Creations are private by default: no public feed, and your work joins the showcase only with your agreement.
- Credits never expire and are deducted only on success. An unused wallet balance can be refunded within 7 days of topping up.
- Questions first? Email [email protected] — a person reads it.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use AI product photos on my Shopify store commercially?
Yes. Download at full resolution and use your creations in listings, your store and ads, as long as they follow the law, our content rules and the Terms of Service.
How much does a 5-image listing set cost?
About $0.04: five images — hero, lifestyle, close-up, scale and packaging — at roughly $0.008 each, before bonus credits. A 50-product store costs about $2.
Will the AI get my product's colour right?
Not guaranteed. Describe colours precisely, generate a few variants, and compare with the real product in hand before publishing. For colour-critical items, photograph the real thing.
Can I get a transparent background for my product?
Yes. The remove-background guide linked below turns a photo into a transparent PNG, white background or solid colour in one image credit, charged only on success.
Do my credits expire between product launches?
No. Credits stay in your account until you use them, with no monthly plan and no end-of-month reset — which is why pay-per-image suits stores that launch in bursts.
